DeepSeek's super-agent: one router, many workers, and the end of babysitting AI

On 31 October 2026 DeepSeek open-sourced dsh-superagent, an MIT-licensed prototype that turns one coding agent into a small team: a Router that takes in work, a pool of Workers that do it in parallel, and a Watchdog that supervises them around the clock. A person can oversee only three to five agent sessions at once, DeepSeek says — so the bottleneck is no longer what one model can do, but how many agents one human can supervise.
